About the Author

Margreet Faassen-Pijpers was born in August of 1952 inCuraçao and completed her graphic design education in Utrecht, The Netherlands in 1968. After years being active as an artist, she pursued an education in childcare. After graduating she worked for more than 12 years as a childcare professional. Her love for working with children, her passion for painting and her creative story writing has led to creating books for children. In 2006 she moved to Bonaire, the place where here stories take place. All illustrations are painted by herself.
